Join in the fun with the kids of First Church when they celebrate the coming of Christmas during our “Chaos and Carols” worship service at 9:30 am on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
The highlight of the morning service, starting at 9:30 am, will be a heartwarming Christmas pageant featuring the talented and adorable children from our church. Witness their reenactment of the nativity story as they bring it to life with their enthusiasm and charm. This is an event filled with joy, laughter, and the pure innocence of childhood. Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic and wonder of the Christmas story through the eyes of our young ones.
In the evening, at 7:30 pm, we will gather for a breathtaking candlelight service, filled with the timeless beauty of Christmas carols. Come together with your loved ones as we sing hymns of praise, rejoicing in the arrival of the Savior. The gentle glow of candlelight will fill the sanctuary, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of Christmas. It is a special time to reflect, offer prayers, and embrace the hope and love that this season brings.
We understand that this year’s celebrations may be different due to the circumstances. As part of our commitment to fostering connection and community, we are also offering a children’s pageant on Zoom. Families are invited to pick up bags filled with costumes and Christmas goodies, making it possible for everyone to participate from the comfort of their homes. This allows us to come together virtually and enjoy a relaxed retelling of the Christmas story, ensuring that no one misses out on the joyous occasion. Bag pick-up will be available between 9:00 am and noon from December 21-23, and if you need an alternate time, simply reach out to Pastor Katie, and we’ll be more than happy to accommodate you.
