DESCRIPTION:The Deacons of First Presbyterian Church invite you to join us 
 on Sunday\, October 25 for a special day of fellowship\, celebration\, and
  gratitude as we gather to honor our church family. This all-church dinner
  will be especially meaningful as we welcome and celebrate those who are a
 ble to "come home" to join us from homebound situations or nursing care fa
 cilities.\nThe day will begin with a time of fellowship from 10:45 to 11:3
 0 a.m. for those that are not attending adult Sunday school or Sunday scho
 ol. We will enjoy crackers and cheese while singing some of our favorite h
 ymns together. We encourage everyone to share a favorite hymn when respond
 ing to the invitation so that it can be included in our time of worship an
 d remembrance.\nAt 11:30 a.m.\, we will have a family-style luncheon and c
 elebration. The menu will feature chicken\, green beans\, carrots\, mashed
  potatoes that are all gluten-free\, and cake for dessert\, with vegan mea
 ls available. Children are warmly welcome.  Peanut butter and jelly will 
 be available as alternatives.\nAs we enjoy a meal together\, we will take 
 time to recognize and honor long-term attenders of our congregation\, fami
 lies who have faithfully come to our church for many years\, and those who
 se presence continues to enrich our church community. Most importantly\, w
 e will celebrate the relationships\, faith\, and shared history that make 
 First Presbyterian Church such a special place.\nTo help us prepare\, we a
 sk that you RSVP by October 11. Please let us know the number of people wh
 o plan to attend\, any special dietary needs\, and your favorite hymn. You

 fpcdavenport.org.\nWe are especially grateful to a generous church member
