Marty Bowles-Edwards

Children and Youth bring a sense of wonder and delight to learning and play, as they encounter God with open minds and hearts. It has been Marty’s privilege to inspire and share in that wonder and delight for 4 decades as a member of this Congregation. She has served all ages as a volunteer Nursery Coordinator, Sunday School and VBS Teacher, and Elementary and Youth Fellowship Group Coordinator and Leader. She is now on staff as a parttime Co-Director of Christian Education with the talented and dedicated Abby Schondelmeyer.

Marty holds a M.A. degree in Speech Language Pathology and served in the hospitals and rehabilitation centers in care of our Quad Cities community. This work empowered people to express their hearts, minds, and needs, a ministry that complements FPC’s Mission and Vision.
